February 21st, 2009We have (finally) settled on a date and location for the Summer Engagement Party in New York! Edmund’s parents, Denise and James, will be hosting the event at their home: a beautiful suburban refuge in Yorktown Heights, NY, on June 27th, 2009. For more details, click here. Musical Stylings
January 21st, 2009The reception will have, in part, music played from an iPod. (We’re still working on other forms of entertainment, including real live musicians, so stay tuned about that.) Since we aim to please, we’re looking to put as many crowd-pleasing favorites (as tastefully possible) on the playlist. To that effect, we’re sending out a call to everyone: leave your song requests in the Comments section of this post. Some rules:
- Song requests left anywhere else (email, Random Thoughts, Facebook, etc) will not be counted.
- Keep your list to five (5) songs per person. We’re trying to be egalitarian here.
- Bon Jovi, Journey, and Michael Bolton are strictly forbidden.
- Be honest!

Rehearsal Dinner: Time and Place
January 19th, 2009We have tentatively found a spot for the rehearsal dinner: Mizuna in downtown Spokane. T loves it there, and the pictures on the site are quite attractive. We’ve decided on Thursday, not Friday, for the dinner, so that the night before the wedding isn’t a giant all-night party, and we can take as much time as we want at the restaurant.
